13th Mar 2025 10:13PMThis was the house my mother (Barbara Francis nee Gee) was brought up in - RMB 440 New Line Road. Her parents - William and Edith Gee had a successful poultry farm on this land. They originally had 13 acres but gradually sold some to the Kilgours who lived opposite David Road and then ended up with 3 acres before it was sold after the death of Bill (1988). Edith had died 10 years earlier. The wonky brick barbeque was built by my husband and I and had a few good barbeques. The house looks very dilapidated and overgrown in the photo but it holds so many wonderful memories and I can't believe I stumbled across the photo.
