DescriptionThe Governor, Sir Philip Game opened Hornsby Hospital on 26th August 1933 with facilities for accommodating 38 inpatients.
Hundreds of people gathered in front of the new building for the special celebration. Mr. P. A. James, Chairman of the Hospital Board, paid tribute to the many auxiliaries that worked tirelessly over almost 15 years to raise money to build the hospital.
