DescriptionThe Church of Christ, Hornsby was built on land owned by Mr T Dobson, situated in Albert Street between Junction Road (later renamed Edgeworth David Avenue) and Florence Street. The land was purchased in September 1909.
Prior to 1909, Church of Christ worshippers met for two years in private dwellings in Hornsby and Wahroonga.
This church is mentioned on page 10 of The Sydney Morning Herald 18 June 1910 as follows: "A neat brick chapel has been opened by the Church of Christ in Hornsby in which Mr. Thos. Hagger has been conducting a successful mission..."
