DescriptionThornleigh School of Arts, Pennant Hills Road as seen from Station Street circa 1910, the Royal Hotel is on the left. The trees were cut down in 1924 to make way for telegraph poles. Unruly patrons could be tossed in the horse trough outside the pub to cool down.
