PhotographerEdward Lawn DescriptionThis road was once called High Street. Showing the Cambria Picture Theatre, Dingles Refreshment Rooms, bakery, automobile garage and the War Memorial at the top of the street.
It was later renamed to Beecroft Road. Various old buildings still remain. The bakery is still there, although covered in planks on the front. The Cambria is now a Gym and Gloria Jeans. The war memorial was moved to Forest Park Epping.
