TypeReceiptDetailsForbes Footwear was opened by James Forbes and son Warren in 1940 when a pair of shoes cost 25 cents.
The Forbes’ own the whole building, and Scott Forbe’s great grandparents once lived above the shop. They named it Willander Court after William Alexander Forbes, James’ brother who died in the Second World War.
