BiographyCecil Thomas was the manager of the Thornleigh Brickworks, he enlisted on 21 March 1916
In 1917 he was in command of a Trench Mortar School in England.
By 1918 he was transferred back to Australia suffering from the flu, severe Bronchitis, Malaria and Peritonitis. He died at home in 1920 of Pneumonia and Peritonitis. He was declared a ‘war dead’, leaving a wife and three children.
