DetailsThis document contains a history of churches that were established in the suburbs of Waitara, Hornsby, Hornsby Heights, Asquith, Mt. Colah and Mt. Ku-Ring-gai from 1896 to 1955.
The content mainly records the early years of each church's history, however where it has been possible to include more current details, this information has been added.
Notwithstanding that the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational churches combined to form the Uniting Church of Australia in 1977, as the following history is mainly prior to that event, the Methodist and Presbyterian churches have been grouped according to their original Protestant denomination.
