BiographyGeorge Reed was a London-born orchardist who enlisted on 15 June 1916.
He was hit by machine gun bullets in head and chest at 3 am on 15 April 1918, probably during reconnaissance, and died instantly.
George Reed had previously been wounded in the thigh in September 1917.
