BiographyHenry Campbell originally enlisted in December 1915 but was discharged as medically unfit.
He reenlisted on 20 March 1916 and was killed by enemy shell fire while going to the front to recover the body of a member of his company, he has no known grave.
He was the brother of John W. S. Campbell a school teacher from Galston.
