DescriptionOn 30 November 1957 a bushfire swept across from Old Mans Valley near Mount Wilga to Hornsby. The fire devastated two homes, a scout hall, a timberyard as well as the Hornsby Home Science Secondary School (which included the former Hornsby School of Arts). The School of Arts building was not demolished until 1969.
