BiographyGother Clarke enlisted as a Medical Officer 29 April 1916, was appointed Regimental Medical Officer and was promoted to Major in 1917.
He was mentioned in despatches for "conspicuous bravery and devotion to duty" on the day of his death for remaining at his Regimental Aid Post attending the wounded, despite heavy bombardment.
He was killed outright by a shell.
