StreetPogson DriveSuburbCherrybrookDetailsJohn Pogson (1794-1867) arrived in Australia in 1821. He and his wife Mary Ann (nee Howarth (1809-1856) gave a half acres for the building of a Wesleyan Chapel on New Line Road. Their son Henry Pogson added 30 acres to his father's 240 acres making their orchard a major fruit supplier to Sydney during the nineteenth century.
