StreetBlacks RoadSuburbArcadiaDetailsBlacks Road is named after one of the foremost fruitgrowers, whose property bordered this road. It had earlier been called Moore's Rd, after another prominent fruitgrower, Harry Moore, whose orchard was on the opposite side of the road. Harry Moore retired to live in Hornsby, and was a member of Hornsby Shire Council, representing the local district as an 'A' Riding representative. See Also Moore's Road.
