StreetAmor StreetSuburbAsquithDetailsThis street was named after Captain Edward Robert Amor, retired sea captain, Asquith resident and businessman. Captain Amor was a Hornsby Shire Councillor between 1928-1931.
Originally the northern end of Lodge Street turned left to join up with Old Berowra Road and there was no connection to the Pacific Highway. The first 60 metres of the eastern end of present-day Amor Street that connects with the Pacific Highway was formerly part of Lords Avenue.
Amor Street Asquith crosses over into Hornsby.
