StreetStokes AvenueSuburbAsquithDetailsNamed after early orchardists and property owners; William Bryant Stokes, b.1834 in Bristol, obtained a land grant at Asquith. Stokes Avenue runs through what was the family orchard. Asquith Girls High School also occupies some of the land.
