DetailsPrior to St. David's Presbyterian Church being built on the corner of Bouvardia Street and the Pacific Highway (now renamed Peats Ferry Road) at Asquith, services were held in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Campbell in "Asquith House" which was on land now occupied by the BP Service Station at Asquith.
This photo shows the property being cleared prior to commencement of the church building in 1921.
The address is 333 Peats Ferry Road and the aspect of the photo is looking from Bouvardia on the right towards present day Peats Ferry Road. The clump of trees were preserved in the corner.
