StreetHull RoadSuburbBeecroftDetailsHull Road appears on an 1887 Lands Department Map. Hull was the birthplace of Hon. Henry Copeland, Minister for Lands in the N.S.W.Cabinet, 1886. He was born 6/6/1839, in the city of Yorkshire, England. See Copeland Road.
Another possible, but less likely source, of the name"Hull" could be Jemima Hull, who was an Anglican who gave impetus to the growth of Anglican worship in Beecroft. Services of Wesleyan and Anglican denominations were held in her home, from 1889 to February 1891, when the Anglicans built their own church.
