28th Mar 2024 10:40AMEdward Seale and his brother John Seale both bought land in Malton Rd in about 1891. The families had previously lived in Leichhardt. Edward was advised by his doctor to move out of the city air. He bought at least 4 lots, possibly more. He built a home "Boronia" where Seale Close is now, and raised four sons there. Several of his sons settled on the land in Malton Rd, Arthur at No 36 Roma, and Eric further down. His brother John built the two-story home Mindaribba . At one stage there were at least 6 families of Seales resident in this street.
