StreetMurray Farm RoadSuburbBeecroftDetailsNamed for the Murray Farms subdivision, 1881, land owned by Andrew Murray in west Beecroft. Andrew Murray emigrated to Australia in 1817. He became overseer of the Government Gardens at Parramatta. He received a land grant in 1823 of 230 acres which is now bisected by Murray Farm Road. He died in 1858. The original farmhouse was located on the corner of Pennant Hills Road and Mahers Road. See also Murray Rd.
