StreetBambil RoadSuburbBerowraDetailsBuilt in 1957 by William James McCormick and his son, Spencer. They built it down about four blocks to their property. The second family who built in their street extended the road to their property, and so on. The road grew down the side of a natural watercourse. It was originally named Government Road, as are many roads at survey. Council asked William McCormick if he wished to name the road and being unassuming, he declined, and the Council chose the name "Bambil" meaning "mistletoe".
