DescriptionSolomon Wisemans house erected circa 1826 located at Wisemans Ferry
Solomon Wiseman arrived in the colony as a convict with his wife and two children in 1806. Freed, he became a business man, and in 1817 took up land on the Hawkesbury River. By 1821 he had obtained a licence for an inn to be built on that land. He also built himself this residence on the land which still stands today.
