Violet married Charles Spencer Woof in 1914. In 1915, Charles and Violet Woof settled on a 20 acre farm in Berowra called 'Eureka'which had previously belonged to Violet's father. C S Woof expanded the farm and grew citrus, almond and plum trees, as well running a poultry farm and a dairy farm on the property. He was a very successful farmer for many years until the Depression years took their toll. During the 1920s, C. S Woof nominated for 'A Riding' on Hornsby Council. He then worked for Hornsby Council in accounts for about 30 years.He was very community minded being involved with the Hornsby Hospital, Berowra Progress Association and was a life member of Berowra Cricket Club. C.S.and Violet had one son, Alan, whom Alan Road Berowra is named after. Violet Woof died in 1956. C. S Woof married Elsie May Hare in 1966.Charles Spencer Woof died in February 1970.DimensionsBerowra Living History
