Charles Turner (known as C. J.) came to Berowra around 1900 and was ahead of his time in his enterprise. He chose 20 acres of what was considered the best land available in Berowra between Alan Road and Turner Road because of its fertility and abundant underground water. He built a home on it and the property was called 'Eureka'. He established a plant nursery and served teas to tourists. He also arranged auctions and land sales. C. J Turner and his son Henry Raymond Turner also built a house together called "Wharepaka'Physical FormatBerowraDimensionsBerowra Living History
