Identifiernot specifiedPhotographernot specifiedDescriptionJohn Terry Hughes held a great deal of land in the Hornsby Shire during the first half of the nineteenth century. He received a grant at South Colah of 2000 acres on the 18th of August 1842, with quit rent of one peppercorn. This land included Mt Pretoria to the west of present Hornsby, and went across by a narrow strip to the east of Spring Gully Creek. This document is a description of that land grant.Physical FormatHornsbyDimensionsRalph Hawkins
