BiographyEdward Capper was reported missing in April 1917, his death was officially reported to his Brother in July 1918 after no further information had been received and his name had not appeared on any German Prisoner of War list.
It was subsequently reported that he had served at the front for seven to eight months and had been shot down by an enemy plane.
Before transferring to the Royal Flying Corp he served in the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry, he had joined army by April 1915.
Before leaving to join the British Army Edward Capper lived in Maitland, NSW, Australia
