BiographySecond Lieutenant Arthur Clark served in the British Army and was awarded a Mentioned in Despatches on 24 August 1916, after his death.
He originally enlisted with the AIF in the 2nd Light Horse Regiment on 2 September 1914 and served in the Middle East and Gallipoli. He enlisted as a Private, transferred briefly to the Royal Flying Corp before receiving a General Commission, in the British Army, in September 1915.
His wife Katherine traveled to Egypt, when he left Australia with the Light Horse Regiment, to be near him.
