Bruce Wynter Warden

BiographyBruce Warden first enlisted in the First Australian Light Horse Regiment on 7 September 1914. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal on August 11 1915 at Gallipoli, and to Sergeant while serving in Egypt in January 1916.
He was mortally wounded in the stomach and died at a Canadian Clearing Station.
He was described by one of his men as "a very fine young man who rose through the ranks"
