Identifiernot specifiedPhotographernot specifiedDescriptionBuilt around 1926 by the Withers Family, this building was originally the Pacific Guest House. Around 1965 The Pacific was renamed Berowra Waters Inn to give it a more local feel.
In 1975 the Berowra Waters Inn was purchased by Tony and Gay Bilson who had the building redesigned. From 1976, Pritzker prize-winning architect Glenn Murcutt transformed the site combining Sydney sandstone with corrugated tin roof and glass lovre windows. The final stage was completed in 1983 with Murcutt describing it as 'Verandah by the Water'.
The Berowra Waters Inn became a favourite for many colourful Sydney identities, many of whom would visit via sea plane.Physical FormatBerowra Waters
