StreetEdgeworth David AvenueSuburbHornsbyDetailsEdgeworth David Avenue was called Junction Road, probably up to 1910, when the Shoalhaven Expedition to Antarctica awarded fame to an Australian geologist from Wales, Edgeworth David, who discovered the South Magnetic Pole, January 1909, and part of the road was named after him. The division between Hornsby and Wahroonga was in the vicinity of Myra Road and Balmoral Street.
