BiographyWilliam George Wall was born in Normanhurst in 1899. He was a bread carter at the time of enlistment but after returning from the war became a crane driver.
He served in Egypt and Turkey before returning to Australia in June 1919.
He lived in the family home, 'Glenelg' Malisbury Road Normanhurst, up until the 1930s. During the 1940s, together with his wife Grace, he lived in Concord.
