Vincent (known as William/Bill) married Sarah Rebecca Hibbs in 1862 and the couple settled on forty acres now known as ‘The Old Dairy’. A creek still running through the property carries his name, as ‘Seymour’s Creek’. For many years, the stretch of road that passed over the Seymour’s Creek mudflat was known as ‘Seymour’s Crossing’.
