John Butler was Rector and was opened and dedicated by Bishop E D Cameron, Bishop of North Sydney on Sunday April 12 1987. The building was selected from four plans submitted and the Parish Council of the day chose the design by Stanton Dahl Architects. The building contractor was R & J Ryan Pty Ltd. The chosen design integrated with existing buildings on the site. The original church was converted into a chapel and vestry. The new church faces west instead of east, a traditional feature of established churches. The modern premise provides regular seating for 150 people with an extension for seating up to 300 when they foyer and the hall are utilised.Physical FormatPennant Hills
