Their children Ray, Ken and Beverley were born in Camden and Bruce was born in Glenorie. Charles was a storekeeper in Camden until he and Lilian purchased Stan Black's house, Bega, 952 Old Northern Road, Glenorie, around 1943. Charles then became an orchardist.

Charles died in 1980 and Lilian died in 1996.

This photograph is part of a collection of images which hung on the walls of the Glenorie Memorial Hall.
