Fenwick Findley married Eleanor Elizabeth Grace Wallis in Newtown in 1910 and they lived in the house until Fenwick died in 1948. Eleanor then moved to the Rockdale area until her death in 1968. Stewart and Phyllis Semple purchased the property around 1948 and lived there for many decades. Stewart, who was an orchardist, passed away in 2005 and Phyllis passed away in 2004.

This photograph is part of a collection of images which hung on the walls of the Glenorie Memorial Hall.
