DetailsIn 1944 B. Callon started operating a bus service from Hawkesbury River Railway Station to Mooney Mooney. The run then passed to W. D Scott in the early 1950s then to A. J. Schubert in June 1955 and to J. E. Talbot (Jim) in December 1957.
During the Talbot era, the bus terminated in the driveway of his house in Point Road, Mooney Mooney. The timetable was so arranged that time was available for him to enjoy his afternoon cup of tea at home between trips.
Jim Talbot continued to drive the route for a period after he sold out to Jim Knox's Hornsby Bus Group in 1978.
