2nd Aug 2020 12:09PMI was taught to dance in this fantastic South Seas decore palace, with a wonderful sprung floor. Mostly by Carla Godfrey, also by Jack Schofield. Did loads of medals at - was it Petersham or Marrickville? Met lots of people, loved all the girls; married one. Miss everyone.

2nd Aug 2020 12:07PMWhen you entered The Cab, Carla’s mother took your money. And if anyone reading this has seen a Fellini movie (they are rather famous) she fitted the scene like one of his beautiful old-fashioned film sets.

The refreshment area was above the dance floor, and lit up like an impressionist painting.
