DescriptionPaul Allen James (1877-1934) came to Hornsby in 1902 and started as a timber merchant. He established a sawmill in Jersey Street on the site of the present day TAFE college and former public school.
He was either President or Acting President of Hornsby Shire Council for half of his 21 year term on Council.
