TypeNewspaperDetailsThe first Pennant Hills store, the Railway Store, was a single fronted shop buil by Lewis Thompson in 1898. It was reported in the Cumberland Argus on 22 March 1902 the 'Mr Lewis Thompson is making an extensive addition to his establishment'. It was this renovation that made the shop the double fronted store which Lewis sold several years later. The name painted on the outside of the original shop was revealed when Tony Zeaiter, the then owner of the second shop, (known as Belmonte Pizza shop) was doing renovations some years ago.
